Cross-country skiing
Cross-country skiing starts right outside your cabin, with direct access to forests and open winter landscapes.
Around Pinewood — and throughout the Idre area — you can head out in any direction, following your own path.

Snow mobile
From the cabins, the trail begins right away.
It connects directly to the routes towards Drevdagen,
and further into the surrounding area.
There’s space to go out on your own. Or join a guided tour in the area. In every direction, there are miles to explore.
AT IDRE FJÄLL
Skiing
Downhill skiing at Idre Fjäll, with over 40 km of slopes for all levels.
From easy, wide runs to more challenging slopes, it’s a family-friendly area that’s easy to explore. Ski lessons are available if needed.
A good place to spend a full day in the mountains.

Cross-country skiing
Glide through quiet forests and open landscapes on over 100 km of groomed tracks. Around 30 km are illuminated, perfect for early mornings or evenings. Suitable for all levels, with both classic and skating trails.

Winter hunting
Winter hunting for grouse in snow-covered terrain.
There are good numbers of birds in the area, including ptarmigan.
Moving on foot or on cross-country skis, often in white camouflage.
Well-known areas nearby include Drevfjällen and Trunuberget.
